The GoggleWorks Center ) The GoggleWorks Center, looking down Washington St. ) The GoggleWorks Center Dec 3, 2005 The GoggleWorks Center for the Arts, is located in the former Willson Safety Products building at 2nd & Washington Streets in downtown Reading, and serves as a community art and cultural resource center for Berks County and central and southeastern Pennsylvania. The facility houses 34 artist studios, a 3,000 sq. ft. glass blowing facility, 4,000 sq. ft. warm and cold glass studio/classroom, 4,000 sq. ft. wood shop, 4,000 sq. ft. ceramics studio, jewelry workshop, black and white photography classroom, dance and music classrooms as well as traditional visual arts. Twenty-six arts partners and organizations have leased all available tenant space. With artists working at their craft, children involved in learning music, dance and visual arts, college students participating in educational partnerships, and being a focal point for the offices of arts and nonprofit organizations, the GoggleWorks is a hub of community activity.
