Andrea Gwyn
Andrea (Head Drum Major) has a rich drum corps history starting in 1987 with the Reading Buccaneers as a soprano then 1988 and 1989 with the Garfield Cadets. She returned to the Buccaneers as a mellophone in 1990 and took the podium 1991-1994. In 1995 she was assistant Drum Major with the Bushwhackers before taking 15 years off to have little Buccaneers.  She returned to the Bucs in 2011, and has been on the podium ever since. Since 2015 she has also held a position on the Executive Committee as the corps’ Secretary. 2026 marks her 25th year in drum corps, 22nd as a Buccaneer- 18 of those serving as their Drum Major.

Nafis Harris
After first joining the Tubas of Reading in 2023, Nafis Harris is back for year 4 with the corps as Assistant Drum Major for 2026. His tenth year in the activity, he marched with Fusion Core as a member of the hornline for the 2008-2010 and 2015-2016 seasons and as assistant drum major in 2017. Nafis has spent the last 4 fall seasons as an instructor for Burlington City High School marching band.

Alex Witcher
Alex started his drum corps journey with the Reading Buccaneers as a soprano in 2024. Before joining the Buccaneers, he started at Whitehall High School in 2017 where he completed five seasons. Outside of the marching arts, Alex is pursuing a degree in Music Education at Kutztown University. Alex is excited to be spending the 2026 season as Assistant Drum Major!
